A career devoted to gender and domestic violence

Celeste Pérez Bleda holds a law degree from the University of Alicante (class of 1998-2003) and practises as a lawyer registered with the Alicante Bar (Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Alicante) under number 7301. For 20 years she has devoted her practice to Criminal Law, with a clear specialisation in gender violence and domestic violence, a field in which she has completed more than 20 specialised training courses.

Her experience is measured in real cases: more than 1,200 criminal strategy consultations and more than 800 instances of assistance to detained persons.

She works in a close and direct manner. Her emergency line is available 24 hours a day for arrests and protection orders, the initial case assessment is confidential, and she accompanies each person throughout the entire proceedings, from the police station or the filing of the complaint through to trial.

She defends both women who are victims of gender violence and men accused in domestic violence proceedings. Knowing the process from both sides allows her to anticipate the other party’s arguments and always work towards the same goal: a fair process.

Defending a woman against gender-based violence is, for me, a commitment to equality and respect. Defending a man against a false accusation means protecting justice and fairness.
